10th Anniversary

The club was founded 26th July 1995 by Tom Hares, Alistair McLeod, Russell Holland, David Carruthers, Ian Smith and up and coming trainee (at that time) Billy Symington. Click above to guess whose who!
We celebrated our 10th anniversary with a dinner dance on the 14th October 2005 at Musselburgh Rugby Club. The night was a great success thanks to all who helped organize the night and for those that participated.
It all kicked off with a very nice meal and Tom making a speech thanking wives and partners for their support to the members, and he also thanked all the Instructors for the dedication over the years.
Over the course of the meal there was a quiz with a bottle of champagne to the winning team, and a slide show with past and present photos (some of which should be burnt) put together by Sandy & Anne-Marie.
Later on previous DO's were presented to the party by David and he announced his retirement at the next AGM in February.
Although there are many members in the club (past and present) who have contributed over the years, some way and above the call of duty, too many to mention without the risk of offending someone, you know who you are and the club thanks you.
The one group the probably should of had a mention is the founder members, as without them there would not have been a club called MUSAC. Ten Years on, they are still as hard working and dedicated (okay a little bit slower and older!)
The tables were cleared and the dancers boogied on down.
